Francoist repression (history)

"The Francoist dictatorship is the historical period in which the general Francisco Franco gobern us in a authoritarian way. It started at 1939, when the Spanish Civil War finished, until Franco died in 1975. During all this time, everyone who didn´t follow his rules and his ideologies ideas was repressed hardly, as in all dictatorships. He was a really traditional man, so liberal ideas was hardly punished.

This repression was made in different parts of this society, as in religious, edcuational, linguistic, economical, political and cultural way. Also a violent repression, but it has not caused a real problem currently. Religiously, has caused a real discussion because yhe catholic institution has advantages against another institution which are more important to the society."
