" With every drop of water you drink, every breath you take , you're conneted to the sea, no matter where on earth you live" |
Acidification of the sea :
The oceans that cover two thirds of the surface of the earth, containing nine-tenths of water resources and 90 percent of the living biomass in the world and are a primary source of food for more than three billion and a half people. The massive release of carbon dioxide (C02) is causing a submarine phenomenon that few have noticed: the ocean water is becoming acidic and skeletons of marine animals are weakened because they are made of calcium carbonate.
In contrast, seaweed massively reproduce because they are being fertilized with a lot of carbon. This change in the level of acidity (or pH) of seawater produces a lower availability of calcite, dragonite and other carbonates that form reefs, skeletons and shells of many marine species are formed.
Here you can see the climate change focus in the oceans, sea, lacks..ect

I love your way of working and also your presentation in all your posts. Congratulations!!
ResponderEliminarWe have to be care about sea because problems related with environment are having bad effects on the world and also on the sea.
What´s more, pollution is having a great effect on animals and their habitats. We have to be concerned.
The question is How we can change that.
