Animals in danger of extinction due to environmental problems.

Climate change is doing "widespread and consequential" harm to animals and plants, which are struggling to adapt to new conditions.

o   Main species in danger of extinction:

1 - The polar bear: the polar bear as a species could disappear within 50 years if, as planned, continue to shrink ice sheets in the Arctic.

2 - The Bengal tiger: Due to annual growth of sea level, 70% of the habitat of this cat could be lost before 2060. Its current situation is alarming and that is why they have created new reserves for preservation in India.

3- The kangaroo: Due to global warming, the most emblematic species of Australia, the kangaroo, could disappear within a few years.

4 – Whale: Commercial whaling, maritime traffic, marine pollution, climate change threaten the lives of whales in the world.

5 - The Penguin: The four main species of penguins live in Antarctica are threatened with extinction due to global warming. Warming is five times faster at the poles than in the rest of the planet.

  1. Great work, but I can't see some images in the post. Apart from that, it's really a big problem that due to the global warming some animals like penguins or the polar bear might dissappear... We will also suffer the consequences because the level of the sea will increase and lots of coasts will dissapear... We have to do something to solve this now, or it will be too late later...

  3. Really nice post and the presentation! We have to be concerned about animals and their situation. Most of the time these problems affect to them.

  4. good work girls, I´m sure that with everyone's help we can solve the problem of pollution and improve lives of these animals.

  5. I like your work, but I think you lack other animals in danger of extinction that are less known but of great importance to the ecosystem of the area. Frog populations have plummeted worldwide, apparently a combination of disease, habitat destruction, climate change, invasive species and pollution. About half of the 6,000 amphibian species, most of which are frogs and toads, are endangered and some are already extinct.
