Controversial products from Urban Outfitters.

Urban outfitters, the American multinational clothing company that operates in the United States, and many European countries, was founded by Richard Hayne in 1970 and has provoked a storm of criticism lately due to the many controversies their products had these last few years. Here we have some of them:
A faux bloodstained sweater with the Kent State University logo was deeply criticised owing to the tragic event that happened there in the 70’s where three students were shot during a Vietnam War protest. These sweaters were supposed to be“vintage” clothes, that’s the excuse they made for explaining the red stains. However, the bad taste in this sweater is real. It’s not morally correct to open wounds and remind the world the saddened event. Obviously, there’s no excuse when talking about lives taken unfairly.

This fashion full of scandals damages to victims, created a stir in the media and l profits in the business. In terms of human behavior, has come to use tragedies for their own benefit.

This last image is a photo taken after the tragedy in college.

Here you can see a video where all the clothes of this brand appears that none of them are without controversy.

    1. The worst is that people who buy it. The mark has released other clothes with big controversies, such as a shirt with the Star of David, symbol of the Jews during the Holocaust.
